Let thy Kingdom come, just as it is in Heaven.
Under this theme Let Thy Kingdom Come Just as it is In Heaven, the Lord dropped it on my heart to understand that it is His intent to make the earth just like Heaven (Heaven on earth). We can see it clearly from this quote, “Let us create man in our own image and after our likeness and let them rule over the earth and everything in it”, then after He gave man the Bible, which I call the constitution in our kingdom for man to use in governing the earth, man was created with the same spirit of God, with qualities of God , (in His image), and that is why God didn’t name the things which He created but rather asked man to give them a name. According to the constitution, the name which man gave to the things He created was accepted because that was the exact thing He was expecting from man.
Vision 2040 is solely focusing on the following people and communities: orphans, neediest children, single parents, street children, widows and deprived communities. The vision is to colonize these people and communities hoping for them to surrender their life for the kingdom culture. To help facilitate their discovery of themselves, their purpose, their potential and how to maximize these discoveries so that they become real enough for them to take up the leadership roles in their communities and even nation- wide with a kingdom mind set. Vision 2040 believes that every human being is not existing here on earth by mistake, but rather everybody is existing here on earth for and by a reason; refer to Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. This means that everybody is very significant to God despite their standard of living condition; whether you are poor, orphaned, a street child, or any situation and environment that you find yourself in shouldn’t limit you from becoming who you are. Therefore, Vision 2040 seeks to provide means for the above children and communities which will in turn provide a means for them to change from their current physical state, which is a fact, and help them to demonstrate the reality of who they really are and to change their current world culture by replacing it with our heavenly kingdom culture which is in the Bible.
How to achieve the vision in the above given year (2040)
Mark 16:15 says “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”. Therefore, these are our principles which we are using to achieve the vision. There are stages in which you need to learn and become what you have studied so that you can initiate something for the world.
- World The word world here refers to our system that is world of science, world of technology, world of sport, world of business, world of politics, etc. These are places in the world where the Lord wants us to go.
- Preach The Preaching stage is a stage in which we tell the world about our kingdom living. This works by demonstrating the power and the culture of our kingdom to the world. Vision 2040 has developed a new strategy of preaching the gospel to the world which is not only using the Bible as our tool but also of becoming the Word of God and proving it to the world with our life; our relationships in business, our leadership, and our skills.
- Baptism The Baptism stage is a stage whereby the world has accepted your message as you demonstrated the life which you have become by preaching to them, and now they are prepared to surrender their lives to God and die with Him by immersion in water
- Teach This is our last stage, and in this stage, we are to teach others to become like us. Therefore, it is very important to become what you say or preach because that is the exact thing the Lord is expecting from you. At this stage, we teach others with our kingdom constitution (The Bible) in order for them to know the culture in our kingdom which is different from the culture of their former kingdom. This is also the stage in which you are teaching them with every material and means which has built you to become yourself.
These are our four stages, or principles which we are using to anchor the vision. Because we are to go out to the entire world, Vision 2040 has planned to colonize the following world and to exchange their culture with our kingdom culture influence:
- World of academic (organization)
- World of sports (football, athletics)
- World of art (drawing)
- World of music
- World of media

Our mission is to develop and colonize every child with active and creative minds, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and the courage to act on a common belief as sons of God; existing on earth here to affect every part of the world and to live a meaningful life, aligning with God’s original intent for creating the earth and man. We stress the total development of each child: spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical.
The David E. Gregory Christian Academy (DEGCA) Is envisioned to eradicate the ideology of educating a child to acquire a better grade for a better job by replacing the idea of educating a child in order to identify his/her purpose, potential, then maximizing the student’s potential to make his/her purpose materialize. We envision changing the world for God by making the world just like heaven, (let thy kingdom come just as it is in heaven).

An institution with a modest beginning.
We take delight in the lasting approach to child development by investing in the kids under our cares life. Through our holistic child development model, we blend physical, social, economic, and spiritual care together to help children in poverty fully mature in every facet of life and transcend what is often a generational legacy of poverty. We deliver whole-life care by way of our frontline church partners, that is personal, individualized, relational, and tailored to the child’s age, gender, health, culture, and family situation.

We work with above said institution and personnel’s, and each of these partner tailors our holistic child development model to the contextualized needs of the children in our community, to best deliver the best care the children need. We work primarily through child sponsorship and donations, but also have specific initiatives to set up degca own businesses that can help us to become solid in withstanding future storms that might blew on world economy.
